Kandinsky Inspired Napkins for Neue Galerie Designed by Madeline Weinrib

Madeline Weinrib designed a new Limited Edition set of napkins in conjunction with the Neue Galerie exhibition Vasily Kandinsky: From Blaue Reiter to the Bauhaus, 1910-1925. Open from October 3, 2013 to February 10, 2014, the exhibition explored the development of Kandinsky’s art over a crucial period of time, spanning from the Blaue Reiter period to his Bauhaus years.

Madeline’s new napkins for the Neue Galerie draw upon the colors used in Kandinsky’s paintings, re-imagining the vibrant hues in her iconic Daphne design.

The napkins are hand-printed in India on 100 percent natural cotton and are available exclusively at the Neue Galerie Design Shop ($120/set).
