Feeling bored by your bedding? Good news: The design world's go-to purveyor of globally inspired prints has launched a duo of beds. Madeline Weinrib, known for her chic takes on ikats and Ottoman patterns in carpets, textiles, and apparel, has launched a collaboration with the top-of-the-line Savoir Beds. London-based Savoir, known for the luxurious quality of their handcrafted frames and mattresses (which earned a shout-out in 2014's thriller Gone Girl), began as the bedding purveyor to the posh Savoy Hotel and has since expanded to become the mattresser-of-choice for a certain elite if disparate group, including Sir Winston Churchill, Giacomo Puccini, and Marilyn Monroe. Weinrib is the latest of their designer partnerships, which has included the likes of Robert Couturier, Nicky Haslam, and Jane Churchill, among others.

β€œThe designer collaborations are a great opportunity for us to showcase our versatility and ability to customize our designs,” said Alistair Hughes, Savoir's managing director. For her design, Weinrib has swathed the company's Harlech frame in her Bara Black & Hazelnut and Black Foxtrot patterns.

"The headboard is like an empty canvas, so I chose patterns that would look good on the large space," Weinrib explains. "They all have interesting repeats and will feel painterly. I like to think of my fabrics as having an organic feeling." Weinrib is no stranger to collaborations herself, having partnered with Manolo Blahnik, Barneys, and more high-end purveyors. As this group of names and brands might suggest, high-design sleep doesn't come cheap though: Weinrib's bed is priced at $18,473.89. For what Desi Collings calls "the best sleep in the world," though, on a mattress that takes days to handcraft, that's nothing if not reasonable.
