RALPH PUCCI INTERNATIONAL TO EXHIBIT NEW MADELINE WEINRIB CLIMBERS & RAMBLERS SERIES
In conjunction with the 2006 International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) Ralph Pucci International will showcase the new Madeline Weinrib Climbers & Ramblers series in a joint exhibition featuring new work by Madeline Weinrib, David Weeks, and Chris Lehrecke.
Madeline’s new Climbers & Ramblers series reimagines antique Persian carpet motifs in a modern context, capturing her signature convergence of traditional textile techniques with her own contemporary aesthetic. Hand-loomed in Pakistan from hand-spun wool, the Climbers & Ramblers carpets are a study in contrasts, pairing playful with minimal and East with West.
In Climbers and Ramblers, Madeline’s esteem and knowledge of historic visual motifs is evident. The designer pairs antique Persian carpet imagerywith her distinct viewpoint and modern palette, creating a unique collection of carpets that are at once timeless and avant-garde.
The Climbers & Ramblers collection is exclusive to Ralph Pucci International. Following the show in New York, the Climbers & Ramblers series will be on view at Ralph Pucci International in Los Angeles alongside pieces by designer Christopher Farr.
