BAM FISHER BUILDING

To celebrate the completion of BAM’s newest venue, local officials and BAM leadership and trustees will officially open the BAM Fisher to the public with a ceremony on September 6. The structure, designed by Hugh Hardy/ H3 Hardy Collaboration Architecture, is a new model for the 21st-century performing arts center, with an intimate and flexible non-proscenium performance space for both emerging and established artists. The space features a custom carpet created by Madeline Weinrib for BAM, marking her second collaboration with the arts organization. Entitled "Pebbles," the new design pairs the durability of high quality Axminster flooring with the original design elements that have become Madeline's signature.
