Influenced by the artist’s experimentation with paper collage, the simplicity and two-tone structure of the Buche design play on values of opposition and repetition, giving these carpets a thoroughly fresh and modern feel. Like the Tibetan Collection, they offer the durability and weight of wool, but the flat weave construction makes them reversible and endows them with a distinct, more informal texture and aesthetic. Woven in India from Sardenian and New Zealand wool, they may be customized in a range of colors and sizes.
