With their juxtaposed panels of natural tones, soft whites and saturated and suffused blues, they evoke the interplay of water and light and channel the topography of a place that has long served as an inspiration for Weinrib and generations of New York-based artists. Though their cotton construction and denim palette give them a relaxed, easy feel, the hand-stitched detailing and collage-inspired aesthetic reveals the artful and sophisticated nature of their design.
