TIBETAN 123....
.....

Bringing a fresh, 21st century perspective to the ancient art of oriental carpet weaving, Madeline Weinrib’s Tibetan Carpets showcase the designers’ well-honed, well-travelled eye and her iconic east-meets-west sensibility. Hand-knotted in Nepal, these carpets combine the fineness and quality of an heirloom-caliber piece with the designer’s bold and iconoclastic approach to scale, form and color. The density of the pile and high knot count attest to their quality and make possible the intricate, curvilinear forms and sharp, precisely-articulated patterns that have become her hallmark. Made from a combination of Tibetan and New Zealand wool that has been beautifully hand-dyed into a vast spectrum of tones, they possess a subtle sheen to their surface that is imparted by the wash. In addition to wool, Madeline Weinrib’s Tibetan carpets may also be rendered in silk, which lends a luminous and sublimely beautiful depth and elegance to these designs. Like all of her carpets, they may be customized and tailored to your unique specifications.
